Your safety comes first. Here's how we handle weather-related changes to your booking.
Safety-First Approach
At Marbella JetSki, every decision starts with safety. We monitor weather conditions continuously using official maritime sources: AEMET (Spanish Meteorological Agency) and Puertos del Estado (State Ports sea-state data).
Who decides? — The final call on whether conditions are safe is made by our base skipper (the on-duty maritime officer). This decision is non-negotiable and always taken in the interest of participant safety.
Cancellation Criteria
Activities may be cancelled or postponed when any of the following thresholds are met:
Even if conditions appear calm on shore, sea-state forecasts or rapid weather changes may make it unsafe to operate. The skipper's decision is final.
How We Notify You
If the forecast is clearly adverse, we contact you via WhatsApp or phone to discuss rescheduling.
Final check of real-time conditions. If borderline, we inform you and may offer a delayed start.
If you're already at the beach and conditions change, the skipper may pause or cancel mid-session. Unused time is refunded or credited.
Your Options If We Cancel
When we cancel due to weather, you always have a choice:
No-questions-asked guarantee: If we cancel for weather, you will never lose your money. Full refund, voucher, or free reschedule — your choice.
Cancellations by You
If you choose to cancel and the weather is within safe limits, our standard cancellation policy applies:
- > 48 hours before: full refund
- 24–48 hours before: 50% refund or free reschedule
- < 24 hours / no-show: no refund
